The staff at SEPI recently started a garden in an effort to grow food for charity. Through the Plant A Row for the Hungry Program we have produced and donated over 13 pounds of food in our first three harvests and we are expecting an additional harvest in a few weeks. Every pound of food supplements 4 meals prepared by local shelter, food banks, and soup kitchens. So far we have supplemented nearly 50 meals for the hungry. The staff will resume planting in the spring.
