SEPI has announced that the company has been ranked on Inc.magazine’s Inc. 5000 list. Each year, the publication releases the rankings to recognize America’s independent-minded entrepreneurs. Businesses named to the Inc. 5000 list must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, independent companies. Revenue in 2007 must have been at least $100,000, and revenue in 2010 must have been at least $2 million. The Inc. 5000 are responsible for creating more than 370,000 jobs in the last three years, making the list perhaps the best example of the impact private, fast-growing companies can have on the economy. SEPI Engineering & Construction appeared at 2,050, largely due to a revenue increase of nearly $4 million from 2007 to 2010, or a three-year growth of 123 percent. The firm is also ranked 31st among all engineering companies on the list.
