Every year, the publication releases the rankings to recognize America’s independent-minded entrepreneurs. Businesses named to the Inc. 5000 list must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, independent companies. Revenue in 2008 must have been at least $100,000, and revenue in 2011 must have been at least $2 million.
