Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Site 89 Remedial Action

This project is being performed for Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Mid-Atlantic. SEPI is responsible for preparation of a Work Plan and Health and Safety Plan, the installation of two Permeable Reactive Barriers, the abandonment of existing monitoring wells and installation of new wells, as well as site clearing and restoration activities. Included in the work activities is a complete topographic survey of the site area to update current GIS information, and the delineation of existing wetlands that are located within the work area. At the completion of the project, SEPI will deliver an Interim Remedial Action Completion Report that will be included in the overall site Remedial Action Completion Report needed to gain site closure and removal from the National Priorities List under CERCLA.
