Charlotte Streetcar, Charlotte, NC
SEPI is providing surveying for the 10 mile corridor of the Streetcar project utilizing GPS to set horizontal and vertical control points and conventional Total Station surveying equipment to collect the existing road and visible infrastructure features that is to be included in the AutoCAD mapping of the project. Mecklenburg County GIS information was used to evaluate and plan placement of the GPS control points. The GIS information was further used for comparison checks of the field surveyed information and the GIS data.
