Rockingham-West End 230kv East Line, Moore, Montgomery and Richmond Counties, North Carolina

SEPI provided profile, x-sections, and property ties for a Rockingham-West end 230kv transmission line, 34 mile route survey from the West End 230 kv substation to the Rockingham 230kv substation. The survey scope consists of collecting both horizontal and vertical field data along approximately 181,500 linear feet of survey line and the preparation of approximately 180 property tie plats for the new line, including the highway and railroad crossing locations. GPS Control established throughout the total Length of the project. The first 6 miles of the project had to be completed within two months of the start of the project Along with 35 tie plats that had to be completed within this time frame also. Planimetric maps of the Corridor Were provided to Progress energy showing the centerline of the proposed Transmission Line centerline with all Locations within the proposed 100’ Right of way.
